It's true! Warband will make its first public appearance at GaMaYo 26 in the aptly named Project House, Leeds, on May 21st 2026.
I'll be demoing alongside nearly 40 other new and/or upcoming games, to a sea of game developers, publishers and industry-involved people looking to get to grips with the latest indie titles from the region and get involved in the GaMaYo round tables. GaMaYo (Game Makers Yorkshire) is an informal network of people that make videogames in Yorkshire and the North of England, ran and owned by Game Republic Ltd. They host twice-yearly events in Leeds and Wakefield. If you're in the area and want to play Warband, please check out the GaMaYo website for event tickets as it's strictly a ticket-holders-only event.
To the demo itself, you'll be able to play through the first campaign levels, test out some of the commanders, companions and relics available in the game, and hopefully give me some feedback. I'll be looking to hear thoughts on the game-feel primarily, as it'll be the first time other than a few close to me will be hands on with the game.
